Hello & welcome

I  am a ceramic artist based in a small village on the Hampshire / Dorset border, on the edge of the New Forest National Park in the UK.

I make one of a kind sculptures from Stoneware clay which are decorated using oxides and glazes.

I draw a lot of inspiration from my surroundings and over active imagination; which is hugely influenced by the books I read as a child containing the illustrations of Arthur Rackham, Alfred Bestall, Margaret Tarrent and Cicely Mary Barker to name but a few; All beautiful, classical and timeless fantasy illustrations; so if you see the odd pixie, imp or fairy pop up in my work you'll know why!

I exhibit locally in craft and art fairs and take part annually in Hampshire Open Studios, which takes place towards the end of August. UPDATE: As from 1st March 2024, you will also be able to find some of my work in the Cygnet Gallery In Shaftesbury, Dorset.
